Summary
In June 2020 Promo.com an Israeli-based video creation platform experienced a significant data breach that exposed the personal information of millions of users. The breach was attributed to a vulnerability in a third-party service utilized by Promo.com leading to unauthorized access to user data. The compromised information encompassed first and last names email addresses IP addresses approximate user locations based on IP data gender and passwords that were encrypted hashed and salted.
