Hard to find.
Hard to hurt.
Protective intelligence for high-risk people and organizations.
The threat has converged, but the defense has not.
We identify what can be used against you, remove what can be, monitor what cannot, and state plainly when attention is turning into intent.
Our work sits between disciplines. Cybersecurity, executive protection, privacy, investigations, legal and communications each address a different part of the risk. And threats to individuals rarely respect those boundaries. Threats move between digital exposure, personal vulnerability, reputational harm and physical danger. Through the gaps between the disciplines. ObscureIQ connects signals across digital and physical threat environments. We give clients and the teams that protect them one picture of the threat and more time to act.
The person who shows up outside your home may have started by asking a chatbot.
They found an address in a public filing, the name of your child's school in a post, a spouse's morning routine on a public profile, and a phone number sitting on the dark web. All for the price of a coffee. News coverage, public appearances, hostile online communities, breach data, deepfakes, and coordinated narratives add context, motive, and momentum.
At the end of it, a stranger knows where you will be at 6:40 tomorrow morning, and what you will be driving when you get there.
Fig. 1 · Illustrative, not a client matter. Every source named is an ordinary category of public record.
Individual signals and data points may appear harmless. Assembled together, they allow someone to target you.
Fig. 2 · Coverage by discipline, against one threat
Each discipline addresses an important part of the problem. But threats rarely stay within those boundaries.
Seven situations. One solution.
Nobody calls for protective intelligence in the abstract. They call because one of these is already happening. Click below to see what we do about it.
We map what an adversary can find across brokers, breach data, and public records, then drive removals against the records that create real risk. What cannot be removed is suppressed or watched, and you get a measured score at the start and again as the work runs, so the change is something you can see rather than something we assert.
We track the activity, read it for escalation rather than volume, and tell you what it means while you still have options. The signal that matters is specificity: the shift from talk about you to detail about where you are, which is the change that reliably precedes action.
We identify who is behind it, lawfully, and assess credibility, intent, and capability to act. Attribution runs under a private investigator license, every finding carries a stated confidence, and the report is written in a form counsel can file on rather than as a summary you have to translate.
We treat those exposures as connected rather than protecting each person or account in isolation. The people an adversary would route through get mapped first, so coverage is aimed at the actual path in rather than spread evenly across everyone who happens to be nearby.
We trace where it started, who is carrying it, and whether it is gaining the specificity that tends to precede action. Where a public response is being weighed, we work alongside communications counsel, so the decision to speak is made with the threat picture in front of it rather than after.
We establish where you stand before the exposure changes, so what arrives with the visibility can be separated from what was already there. That baseline is also what makes the later reporting mean anything, because change is only legible against a measured starting point.
We tell your people what changed, how confident we are, and what deserves action, in a form they can act on. The brief, not the feed. Nothing reaches them that an analyst has not read first, which is the difference between a monitoring product and an intelligence function.
One integrated approach to protection.
Obscurity reduces data risk. ThreatWatch scans the horizon. Groundtruth discovers who is behind a tweet, a narrative, a hostile act.
Digital executive protection. Exposure Discovery audits what an adversary can find and how they might use it. Exposure Reduction takes it away, record by record, at the source. Your circle of trust, the people important to you, can be covered too.
Find it · Remove it · Keep it gone Explore Obscurity →Continuous monitoring for mentions of you and signs of hostile intent. Our analysts find what automation misses. They filter out the noise. You get the signals that matter. When attention turns toward you, you hear what it means while you still have options.

Investigations and attribution. Who is behind it, what they are capable of, and findings in a form counsel can file on. Available as a one-time investigation or a retainer.
Protection for people whose position creates risk.
ObscureIQ works with people whose position, wealth, visibility, influence, or cause creates elevated personal risk. That includes executives, public officials, celebrities, high-net-worth individuals, nonprofit and advocacy leadership, family members, and the organizations responsible for protecting them.
The value is lead time.
The goal is not to produce the most alerts or claim the highest number of deleted records. It is to identify meaningful activity earlier, explain what it means, and give clients and their security teams the warning and direction to act before online risk becomes real-world harm.
Most firms report what they did. We measure what changed. Records requested, alerts sent, sources scanned: those numbers go up whether or not anyone is safer.
Every program opens with an exposure assessment that produces a score on the Threat Surface Index. The assessment sets it. The work moves it. The annual refresh states the difference, variable by variable.
How much hostility would you generate, just by being who you are?
Hostility is the one variable nobody can reduce, which is why we measure it first. The Index reads two things rather than averaging them: what makes you worth targeting, and what is already happening to you. Together they place you in a quadrant and say which work leads.

The window is open
Highly targetable, nothing underway yet. The best time to shrink what can be found.
Already in contact
Targetable and actively targeted. Monitoring takes the front; removal continues underneath.
Periodic review
Neither structurally exposed nor under pressure. Reassess on a cycle.
Something we cannot see
Targeted without being targetable. The driver is personal or hidden, and it routes to an analyst, not a service tier.
Modern executive protection cannot begin when someone reaches the gate. It has to begin when they first start looking.
A confidential call with us establishes your baseline exposure, your risk profile, and the level of response it warrants. Some clients arrive with a known threat. Others want to understand what their footprint enables before anything happens. The call is the same either way.
