Obscurity, or Obscurity DEP, is where ObscureIQ's digital executive protection starts. It begins with an Exposure Discovery audit of what an adversary can find about you, removes what can be removed at the source, suppresses what cannot, and keeps finding and reducing exposure through the year.
What is ThreatWatch?+
ThreatWatch is ObscureIQ's continuous threat intelligence service, the part of its digital executive protection that watches what cannot be removed. Analysts monitor social platforms, forums, the deep and dark web and forming narratives for hostile signals about you, and report what changed, how confident they are, and what to do. Success is measured by how early you know.
What is Groundtruth?+
Groundtruth Investigations is ObscureIQ's analyst-led investigation and attribution service, the investigative part of its digital executive protection: who is behind a tweet, a narrative or a hostile act, and what they can do. It is available as a one-time investigation or a retainer.
What is digital executive protection?+
Digital executive protection (DEP) is the practice of protecting individuals by limiting the exposure and exploitation of information about them. It combines personal data protection, threat intelligence and narrative analysis to reduce how easily a person can be identified, located, impersonated, manipulated or harmed. ObscureIQ delivers it through three services: Obscurity DEP, ThreatWatch and Groundtruth.

CODEX is ObscureIQ's index of the entities that actually hold consumer data, an order of magnitude beyond any public data broker list. Exposure reduction runs against it.
What is the Threat Surface Index?+
The Threat Surface Index is a single score for what an adversary can find about a person and what is already pointed at them. An Exposure Discovery audit sets it, the work moves it, and an annual refresh states the difference.
What is the Hostility Index?+
The Hostility Index is a free, anonymous survey that measures how much hostile attention a person's life generates, in two scores: Exposure, what makes you worth targeting, and Pressure, what is already happening.
What is the Breach Risk Index?+
The Breach Risk Index scores how much risk a circulating data breach poses to the people whose records are in it. ObscureIQ publishes a score with every breach record.
What is Circle of Trust coverage?+
Circle of Trust coverage extends protection to the people close to a client, such as family, household staff and assistants, because an adversary often reaches a person through the people around them.
