A daily brief
and a library.

COMMAND is not a newsletter with an archive. Each piece starts from something that actually happened, and works out what it changes for people with something to protect.

Every morning

The CORGI Morning Brief

Designed on the President's Daily Brief.

One document, each morning, for a reader who has to decide, with assessments that say how sure they are. The difference is that everything in it is open source. That is not a limitation. You can check any claim, which the original's reader cannot.

Every week

Command Briefs

The depth behind it.

When a morning item deserves more than a paragraph, it becomes a brief: a complete piece of analysis on a single question, numbered, dated, cross-referenced to what came before, and kept.

For the decision

Principal Brief

The two-minute read: the finding, three takeaways, and the actions. Written for someone who has to decide and move on.

For the detail

Analyst Brief

The full analysis underneath: the evidence, the reasoning, the sources, the confidence statement, and the cross-references. Written for whoever has to evaluate, defend or act on the finding.

Every brief answers one question. It names the occasion, a ruling, a breach, an indictment, a vendor disclosure or a pattern across incidents. It states what the evidence supports and how confident the analysis is, and says what a principal, an advisor or a security lead should do differently. It does not round up the news.

02 · The library behind it

The morning brief is where you start. The library is what you keep.

Six months on, a finding is still findable, still cited, and still carries the confidence it was given at the time. Every brief has a public summary, so you can see what it covers before you open it.

Some of our work is marked Client Only in the Intelligence Library. These briefs and controls come from client engagements, or from research we do not publish. They are part of a client engagement, not COMMAND.

They stay visible in the library so you can see they exist. If one bears on your situation, talk to us.
